Joey Ventimiglia is a senior at Alton High School and a driven, purpose-focused student leader who strives to become the best version of himself in everything he does. Known for his determination, leadership, and ability to form meaningful connections, Joey believes that success is not just about what you know, but also who you know.
Throughout his time at Alton High, Joey has been recognized for both academic excellence and leadership. He was inducted into the National Honor Society during his senior year and has consistently earned high honors every semester. He was also selected to participate in Alton's AACE leaders Program during both his junior and senior years—a competitive opportunity that develops leadership, critical thinking, and professional communication through meetings, seminars, and debates.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Joey is actively involved in several extracurricular clubs, with a special passion for the Biology Club and Architecture Club. These organizations have allowed him to explore his interests in science and design while building relationships with like-minded peers.
Outside the classroom, Joey is a committed athlete. He has played on both the varsity tennis and bowling teams for the past three years. His love for tennis began in childhood, inspired by watching his older sisters compete. Bowling became a passion when he joined the team as a freshman, and he’s been a key contributor ever since.
In his free time, Joey enjoys spending time with his friends and family—whether playing tennis, bowling, pickleball, or just enjoying a good conversation. He comes from a large and close-knit family with five siblings: Adri, Katie, Anthony, Johnpaul, and Luke. His parents, Paul and Erin, are well-known in the local community, and Joey is proud to carry forward the family legacy by forging his own path with purpose and integrity.
